Wow, they already released Firefox 7 alpha before 6 Beta was even finished.
7 is fast, but none of my addons are compatible almost.

I personally don't use Firefox, I find there's too many security problems in it. My personal choice is Google Chrome.

If you're using Chrome instead of Firefoxfor security you've got the two mixed up. Google chrome is far more insecure than Firefox, and Firefox is actually one of the most secure browsers there is. IE is popular so people go after that one but it's still fairly secure, google chromes insecurity was just due to it's development. The only good thing about chrome security is the fact that they use each tab as a new process so that when one tab freezes the whole web browser doesn't freeze. This also isolates any malicious sites that you have open to a single tab. But the other insecurities in chrome don't suffice for being better than Firefox

There's far more password stealers for Mozilla Firefox that I've seen then there are for Google Chrome, take this for an example: Quite a while ago I used to be a 'hacker' so to speak and I used to infect anyone that I could (not anymore by the way), so I set up iStealer on my own server to grab passwords, so to test my server, I tested it on myself. I went to look at the logs and there was 5 pages full of mine and my mothers passwords (50 logs per page). I was browsing through them for the fun of it, and everyone was either Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, I didn't have a single log from Google Chrome. Sorry if I offended you by saying that I prefer Google Chrome, but I do, It's just a preference, I will add that I do like Mozilla, it's just the a prefer Chrome, that's all.

I also found the source code of chrome online which makes it that much easier for hackers to find vulnerable code. Another: -A password stealer is not the only vulnerability for a web browser They did a good job on speed and the idea to create several processes for each tab, but they lack in the security. It's a statistical fact that google chrome has bad security. Read one of Omni's posts on Google chrome as well on SF.

They are just releasing this fast because Chrome is doing too. Just most people still don't realize that Chrome is NOT as good as FireFox (or at least not yet). However, I've been using the FireFox 7 Alpha for months now.

I've been using 8 for a while now too (Nightly). It's far more open source than Google chrome will ever be. As of now anyway. I've already modified all of my addons so that they are compatible with my version 8
