I got a temp ban about 4 years ago for saying Runescape.cohm, or something along those lines. Of course I appealed it but seriously, is it all automated?

I'd like to add that the in-game support is just terrible, guess there's not much you can do when your game runs on a java-based platform. I mean, when someone gets hacked and all of gets their items deleted, what are they going to do, ask the GMs? Lol.. Too bad they'll just say "tough luck." Other games, i.e WoW and I'm sure Aion as well, would gladly assist you with that. Thankfully, I've never had that problem when I did play.

I don't get why Jagex fails so miserably. They've spent so much time trying to get rid of bots, real world trading, etc, it's come to the point where that game started to downfall. It turned into a solo game. A few years back, I would lend people money, items, etc, and now you can't do that because Jagex must find a desire to "stop botting and real world trading." Sure it worked, but I wonder how they felt when they started to lose revenue. People botting, who gives a sh*t, gets your company money doesn't it? People real world trading? So what? I mean honestly, why would they care?

The game hasn't even improved last time I checked, all there was, was an updated graphics engine, same mechanics, same bull sh*t. Obviously, if they don't want people botting, don't make the entire game based on cutting pixels. It's way too repetitive which makes it too easy to bot. Yes, when I played I did bot, because I find that sitting on your ass cutting trees 5 hours straight was just stupid, which apparently they don't realize.

Imo, instead of tweaking the graphics, tweak the game play.

One more thing, they took out the classic Wilderness PKing, what the hell? That's just asking for a loss of traffic, what are they thinking, seriously. That was one of the main reasons that I played that game.

Botting, along with RWT's, in no way or form gets them money. They lose it. 60% of botters are using stolen credit cards for paid membership, and JageX take the blame. They end up having to repay the owner of the stolen credit card for all subscriptions and some people even try to sue them. All botters who use stolen credit cards to purchase membership are also RWT's, which is a major hasle for JageX as the players who buy Runescape items off of these RWT's for real money often get scammed, which leads to many a complaint + time & money wasted.

The Old Style Wilderness was the 'only' reason I ever played aswell.
They took it out practically because they had to. It helped stopped many RWT's.

I stopped playing as soon as my account got permanently muted, I was surprised I wasn't banned. I guess it was probably because I payed for so many memberships, they wanted to try to keep business.
