I suppose it depends on who is using it and what they're using it for.
A family friend of mine uses it at work and says it's a good device to create graphs and look up the information she needs, but others would be using it as entertainment with Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja.

To me, I find it a waste of money since they'll bring out a new one every year, but I do recognise the fact that others enjoy using it for several reasons.

You don't have to do anything. I was just wondering about your motivation. For me the cost of ChorusDS HD is the equivalent of two better bottles of wine. So I just stay dry for a week and the money is back.
Regarding Chorus for iPod: I have not tried it on the iPad but I imagine that it doesn't work so great on the iPad because it was NOT specifically written for the iPad as Chorus HD was.

If you are happy with Songbook: great for you. I have given up on Songbook. It's just annoying the hell out of me and never really works when I need it most. The dollars for Songbook I REALLY regret. I should have stayed with LeiaDS and Plugplayer to bridge the time until the arrival of Chorus. Ah, hindsight...

Ipad's are honestly over priced, I'd rather purchase myself a half decent new laptop with more features then purchasing something which is only limited to 32Gb of memory and still performs the same tasks as a computer.

Hey, you can get 64GB iPads.
Anyways, they are more convenient and have some features which are exclusive such as apps from the Apple App Store. But I have to agree, they are over priced.

The only differences between the iPad 1 and iPad 2 are the speaker placement, and the camera.
