I'd actually like to add F.E.A.R onto this, I played F.E.A.R 2 and it was good for a late night game. If you have your headphones on and your playing it at midnight it can give you a little bit of a scare, whereas most games that I've played don't really scare me. I like looking for games that will get my heart pumping, and this is a fairly decent game, however I have yet to find one that will give me a heart attack
Also, probably Siren: Blood Curse is another one of my favorite games, because it's not like the usual horror game where it's easy to kill a bad guy. Running is the best option in most cases in here so it gives you a more realistic feel to what most people would do. Unlike the movies where everyone opens the door or goes down a dark tunnel when you know they shouldn't, that's not real, that's just for the extra scare factor.
