I can't upgrade my cpu-need help
#11
Why do i need to change my power supply, it's already 450W, and all im gonna change is motherboard, cpu, rams and video card. And im actually replacing (not adding) parts, so it wont effect my power supply!!..

By the way, can any one suggest me a good motherboard that can serve me a couple of years? ( not the one where you cant upgrade cpu if needed in future lol)

That is if you also want to change your hard disk.. i'm guessing your disk is 40-80gb..
I recommend ASUS motherboard.. it has 3 years of warranty.. physical damage is not included though..

owkei.. if you are unsure.. amd is for gaming addicts (focuses resources to currently opened and running application).. intel is for reliable yet fast computing (divides resources into system and programs running simultaneously)..

No one seems to have answered why you need a better card! All the resources suck power, if there is not enought, the system will not run!
The better the item the more power it uses!

You can run that rig with lower watts on the PSU just perfect in my opinion. I'd say 600-750W.
