Is anyone here an Adobe After Effects user? Can I get some references to good resources (books, online tutorials) that you have learned from or you know are good?

What version are you using? I know the existence of some exercise files and movies from lynda.com.
Here is a link with the adobe after effects tuts, not sure. http://www.lynda.com/home/Search.aspx?q=...%20effects There is of course an easier "bypass" to this in torrent form where one user downloaded all the free videos and compiled them on one torrent. I hope that helps. Help us help you...
I am using CS4, I am looking through the list now. Thanks and if you have anymore please let me know
EDIT: Darn you need to have a subscription.

Hey thanks that site's beginner section has a few good tidbits of info. I'm going to try to look for this book.
Adobe After Effects CS4 Classroom in a Book I already have a pdf of it but I need the c.d. too.

Thanks again for trying but I'm still trying to look for the DVD download with all the assets needed for the CS4 Classroom In a book. I am still looking over After Effects for Beginners link you posted earlier though so once again thanks for all your troubles.
If you manage to find the dvd download PM me ASAP. I am hoping to be able to start learning by tomorrow.

I've been watching some of the video tutorials here,
http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/ I'm somewhat beginner to AE and I've learned a lot. Not all of his (Andrew Kramer's) tutorials are easy to follow, but they are amusing.

Those torrents above are the lynda.com video exercises so you won't need to subscribe. You're welcome. I might get into AE myself. I just got the Master Collection. Help us help you... |
