Under Shortcut Tab> Advanced Button is different then = Compatibility Tab > Run this program as an administrator checkbox. Oh the irony. Do you mean that it was already checked and then you unchecked it?

You are definitely mistaken on this one. Firefox is more secure than IE, and is also more customizable and functional with the diversity of addons out there. Firefox is open source. http://www.webdevout.net/ie-is-dangerous http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/6-reasons-w...-explorer/ http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/ar...kdown.html http://blogs.computerworld.com/18040/chr...ox_4_fight You're wrong on that one. You'll just need to reconfigure settings on your computer that may be causing the crashes with firefox to be able to take advantage of it.

Firewall is a big part of it, but IE is the most exploited browser out there today. So nothing can be 100% secure with it compared to firefox or a few other browsers in that way. Other browsers are unsecure because of the way they send information. It's a combination of things though.
