Hey guys, I am sharing with you one of the many secrets of the Windows Operating System, taking advantage of its resources, easily. I am have made this trick, and if anybody on this god damn internet has wrote anything about it, it was mine. Now I am releasing it to you guys, so please give the credit due here, thanks.

Briefing:
Today we will be using something called System Environmental Variable and User Environmental Variables. With the variables value you may type in a path to a Folder or an Executable file, with a proper path such as "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe", but before a value -- theres a name; so it means that you may choose the name of the custom shortcut for the run menu. So lets say you typed into run: "%commandprompt%", it would open command prompt if a system variable was made for it. Oh did I mention my special technique MUST have "%'s" in front and back of the custom run command. Below is the true tutorial on how to create our custom run commands for a user and the system. The system means every user that knows the custom run commands name on the computer may use it at there own will. The user variable is only for the user that is logged in to have a custom run command. Enjoy the tutorial and thanks for reading the briefing.

Steps:

1) Go to Run in the start menu or Windows + R and type the following in between the quotes: "control.exe sysdm.cpl,System,2".

2) After you have reached this dialog that should have loaded, switch to the "Advanced" tab and click the "Environmental Variable" button below.


3) This dialog should pop-up,
Then you will hit "New" because this concept is completely new to you, you may hit edit when you have past custom run commands to use.

4) Heres how it works:
As you can see we have two textboxes that need input, ones a name and ones a variable string. The string is supposed to be the path you wish to open, "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\My Mods\" & do not forget that you can use an executable file, (.exe) [i.e. "C:\" is not necessary in the path you are using.]. The name can be something such as "mods", so when you type it in run, you must type in "%mods%" without quotes.

5) Results:




Woot, my method works because its so awesome. You cannot forget to add the "%'s" at the beginning of the custom run command and the end of it.
