I have spent hours trying to find a way to take free screen shots. I have always used programs like Snagit. Did you know there is one built into Windows?
Follow this simple tut on how to take screen shots using a Windows tool named: Snipping Tool
1. Open Start Menu and go to My Computer.
2. Go to you main hard drive. In my case it's Local Disc (C
3. Go to the "Windows" file and then onto "System 32" file.
4. Find the application named "Snipping Tool"
It is very easy to use, and even comes with this nifty editing software.
You can edit the picture and highlight things like this:
I would have taken a screenshot of the software, but I can't run it at the same time.
This should work on Vista and Windows 7.
If this helped you please take 3 sec to say thanks.
