I saved a life

Wow, that was great work Solidify. I'm not sure if I could've done that. Hats down. Thank you for saving a life. And at his tone, for me, would be hard to talk with. But, you did it. Keep it up.

Actually I wasn't on SF. Someone that knows me on MSN told me that someone was in need of help so I added him and we spoke.

Wow man, you're an awesome person.
That is just, so nice of you.

I can't believe how good you are with words and being persuasive, I could tell by the whole conversation that he was getting better and better.

Thanks but my goal wasn't to pursue him to agree to anything. With suicidal clients, the idea is to help change their way of thinking. If you try drilling someone by telling them why they shouldn't kill themselves, it may seem like you've helped them right there and then but as soon as they're alone, unless they've changed their thinking perspective, they will still find themself in situations of uncontrable greif.

Consider the following familiar proverb. If you catch a man a fish, you feed him for the day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

That's awsome man. I'm glad you were able to help him out before he did something drastic.
