I do not belive that we are Alone...
The Universe is way to big to be an empty void, with only one single Planet that gives home to Non-/Intelligent life forms.
There are many processes that occur out there in an nano-second, some of those are likely to be life forming or destructing.

If our Planet was visited by some, which I don't belive... we wouldn't actually be able to detect that, that I'm 100% sure of.
I do however belive, that our roots lie somewhere out side this Planet, maybe an expermient, a rescue, a mistake or even an accident... but we are here and we came from somewhere...
