Growing up sucks , I'm 17 and I wish I could be 12/13 again where I had no worries , school was fun and all my friends were around all the time.

Well everyone says that. My parent always say to me: Be happy that your still young and don't have responsibilities. LoL but still it's not something to be scared of.

If I were you man, I wouldn't worry about it right now. You have a lot of time before that time in your life comes, I'm 16 turning 17 soon. I have to start thinking about what I'm doing for the rest of my life.

I don't want to be some deadbeat that works 40-50 hours week just to keep there head above water. I want to do well for myself, it comes with a lot of work but I think I can do it.

Trust me man, enjoy being young while you can. Years go by a lot faster when your older, just enjoy the pros of being young.

Yes. What you said is the truth.

People get in debts when they go older.
There is financial burden sometimes. But never take a burden(loan) which you cant carry(repay).

And there is no burden which you cant overcome in life with hard work and dedication.

Concentrate on your studies if you don't want to get educational loans and bear its expenses. Study hard. Work hard and you will be able to success in life ultimately.

It scares me off to sometimes but I have decided I will never take such huge loans unless am pretty sure how I can pay them.
I mean why take such huge loans and then get in this huge tension and mind frustration of indebtedness.

Just think before you take such financial decisions in life Smile

I am scared to grow up too. I'll be turning 16 this May. I'll be taking some college classes at the community college next year (my senior year). It's scary :p I had to sign my first official document today for the college, giving my parents the right for something (I don't remember what now :p). The debt part doesn't scare me though. My plan is to live with my parents til I get married (24ish?). I'll be getting my mom's car etc so no debt for me. I just hope I'll have enough scholarships to cover all my college costs.

Just try to get by with donated things (whether from your parents or whoever) and be frugal with your money. It's all part of life.

Theres really not much to say other than enjoy life while you have one. When becoming an adult, life changes and your lifestyle also does as well. But you just got to get the point in life that its time to grow up and move on with your life. I am scared to move out on my own seeing how supportive my parents are, but really its time for you to start becoming an adult. They helped you out your entire childhood and nows its time for you to do the same to your kids or find a job you want to do for the rest of your life.

It is good this makes you contemplate about your grades. In the future, school will truly help you. Not only for educational purposes but for social purposes as well. For example, you will get humiliated if you are not up to someone's IQ level.

Do not be afraid, it is a way of life. And, you will learn to take advantage of it.
