What OS are you using? Make sure that you don't have any indexing on for them.

Sometime Mother Board particular slot have problems i suggest you to clean up everything nicely.


MOTHERBOARD
FAN
PORTS.

Chances are that cables need to be changed as HDD cables are really delicate and they need to be replaced now and then.

I ask because i think vista had a different method of casheing files on drives?
I might be wrong there but it would interest me to know.
I remember a similar problem many years ago when i tried vista and because i have huge slave drives with loads of stuff on them it took ages for the drives to appear.


i guess your right, each software and hardware have there own date of death. lol. maybe its just bugged?
