Hey all. First linux issue.
I am running Ubuntu Studios 9.04, and have a small issue when gaming (So its not just one..) I'll play a game, for a while, then it will minimize, so i can see the desktop, and just freeze my mouse. I can't end it i have to Crtl alt F1 and end it via terminal.
Any idea why? Thanks

What game is it? Are you running it in WINE?

Cube 2. Nexus. Gl117 opencity ACM Urban Terror. etc. Any full screen game it can happen too.

And, you are using the correct driver for your graphics card?
Try turning off all the desktop effects (the name escapes me right now).

Yep, nope activated, and i am. Nvidia works. Bugs the crap outa me.

Stuff like this use to happen to me, I use to get a frozen mouse, Shift wouldn't work anymore etc. The way I fixed it was just reinstall linux, but memtest fixed it for a while, I suggest you run a memtest.

Keyboard still runs a test. Will do a memtest. brb in 3.
