KDE has a vistay look. Gnome has a 98 feel to it. Unless mint really outdid itself, i think thats KDe.

I might download linux mint, I like it very much.
No its the whole Gui. The entire coding. The file manager etc.

If you have a system tab, hover over, then look for one that says about gnome or about kde. i noticed he just increased the bar size
