Extentions Request

could someone make an extention which basically allows you to change the colour of the address bar without changing your theme?

Red (at least in FF and IE7) means that there is something wrong with the site's security certificate.
Secure websites turn the address bar yellowish in FF also. I *think* this is green in IE - not totally sure.
But yeah...without those security certificates, the address bar won't change. It's not for design, rather function and information.
