Restoring far, far back?

[Reality]

I wanna do a system restore; not a reformat, and not back 10 days. I want to backup all of my school work and go back to like when I first setup Windows.

There is no option in system restore for it, but I read somewhere there is a way to do it because every 7 days it schedules a restore point reguardless. Can someone please help?
