I have liked this girl for a long time. We are friends and I am pretty sure she likes me too. I am worried that if I ask her out, and she rejects me, it will ruin our friendship. What should I do? Also, how do I find out for sure if she likes me?

When I talk about this kind of things just like ask as a hypothetical question. Or say that you kind of have feelings for her, but don't be afraid to just come out with it because if not another guy not afraid will sure as hell ask her.
