Yes, it's against the law still. I think every country in existence has laws against pirating copyrighted mateiral.

I actually follow news about TPB. Their rebellious motives produce ingenious services, like IPREDator. When I heard that they provide bulletproof hosting for WikiLeaks, the whistleblower site, it simply increased my affection for them.
