Printing on Mac
#1
Hi guys,

I have a printer connected via USB to my router and I'm trying to connect it to my Macbook Pro. I've already connected this printer to my Windows 7 laptop and tested it. It works fine.

I've tried connecting it to my macbook using the LPD protocol and the printer always pauses when printing something.

Connecting it using the IPP protocol gives me a communication error when trying to print.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Router: Huawei HG556a
Printer: HP DeskJet 2050

Thanks in advance!

Adding, managing, or removing print queues may require an administrator account name and password--make sure you know one for your Mac.
