Hardware Virtualization Locked Off
#1
I need a dual boot OS
1) MS Win XP Pro SP3 X86
2) MS Win 7 SP1 Ulti X64
I currently am running on the first one.
Tried to test the 2nd one using VIrtualBOx/VmWare.
Looks like hardware virtualization is locked off for my processor. Which is Intel Core2Duo E7400 2.80 GHz.
I know that it supports 64 bit OS.
Problem is I'm unable to test the 64 bit OS with VT Off. Need a custom BIOS or probable some guidance to Unlock VT.
Bios is updated to 0601. Motherboard - ASUS P5KPL-AM (PS)

Depends what BIOS you have.

On mine, you have to boot into BIOS, go to advance BIOS features, look for virtualization and change it to enabled. Then save and exit.

Hope this helped Smile

Depends what BIOS you have like Rainbow said.. I don't know what else to say. Rainbow told you the steps.. The easiest ones anyway.
