Ever had a splinter in your finger? If you leave it there, it's a bit annoying, but wishing it would just do what you want it to do and make it happy won't help. As hard as it feels, ask her without being scared of the answer. A Yes from her would be great, I agree. A No, would hurt, but like the splinter, once it's out in the open, you can heal and go on. It may take you a while to get over her if the answer is no, but the sooner you start to heal, the sooner you will be healed.
Even a no as a GF may mean a great friend...better that than wimping out and never knowing the truth... One way to see if she has feelings for you if she says no is to ask her to help you find a good GF Win Win for you either way then |
