Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '-', expecting '}

Hello.. For a past week, My site has been suffering on the magic_quotes error. having characters messed up with \\\\\\\\..
after my host turned off the magic_quotes, it gives error like this

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '-', expecting '}' in /home/pinoywar/public_html/global.php(501) : eval()'d code on line 6

I have tried reuploading my global.php file, but still gives me the error.. I have also observe, whenever I access admincp , It ask several times on my username and password everytime I click a link.

Line 501 of global.php has no code on it so I don't know why yours has an extra line in it, but you'll probably have an error in your header template from the \\\, you'll need to revert it to default.
