...--Well havn't really made a signature in awhile so here's my first try with Sonic.--...

Do you still have the .psd file? There are three focal points and no light source. Move the render closer to the centre of the canvas. Reduce the font size and position it underneath Sonic's hand. The render is lit on the top right, so create a matching light source at the top of the canvas, to the right of centre.

5/10 for now. The colouration has too much blue but otherwise you haven't gone overboard with effects.

Eve, Thankyou, Putting the render into the centre will make the render look wrong, It's cut in a certain which mean's it has to be positioned like that. But thanks for the other tips. I do got the PSD if you want it, just pm me.

I was checking if you could still edit the .psd. Since you can and the render can't be moved, the light source has to be from the top right corner. Smudge and overlay the background lightly to create depth. Reduce the font size and try positioning it between the vortex centre and Sonic's forehead. Hope this is of help.
