what do you mean exactly by "indirect"? I'm still a little confused as to what you are asking.

It's a direct speech you have to convert into indirect speech its the part of reporting speech of grammar

I dont understand really, it's not very clear that way, are we supposed to edit just the dialog or the whole thing?
