Need help with my AV

My AV will not start, it gives me an error like this :

I don't know where to find the event log and the only other security I have is the windows ones.

Have you tried uninstalling it. Then reinstalling it?

You could always put something else on, avast isn't that great anyway.

I'll try uninstalling/reinstalling tomorrow and if that doesn't work al get another. Thanks for the advice.

I didn't think of Google at the time. I just wanted to get it working again.
