I need to know how to get members i am very very bad at it. I have a Banner, Affiliates, and no members.

You should also try some web catalogs.....
But other than that, don't be lazy and start promoting your site.... (Promoting and Spam are 2 different things)
You can start with AF, a first place where you are allowd to place your link.
And there are more just use Google.

Give your future members a reason to also promote your site.

Spam man. In all its variables. Damn its that simple. Get your url out there for all to see.
On blogs. On boards. On youtube on twitter on everything and hammer the hell out of it.

Yup, you need to both get your links out there (in signatures for example, like the one I have) and get some content going. The board in my signature is hard to create content for though so it's pretty interesting. Also find link exchanges and (shameless self promotion) advertisment sites. Link directories, etc. You tube, sign up to forums, become a quality member. I don't click on people that are obviously spaming their signature link or their site, but, I'll follow if they can work it in there and pull some type of quality out of it.

It's not more because of spamming, but when you get a quality member somewhere you'll have more people follow the link and signing up at your site.... without having the Spamer title ;)
Other wise they'll just take a look and leave, IF....

I haven't really had a real successful site yet, but from everything I have read, and from successful sites, good, interesting content is the main thing that will attract members.

try to ad on other popular websites!!....also make attention grabbing banners and have some kind of special deal for members
