Direct3D Error

This has been going on for nearly all of my games and it's super freakin annoying. Failed to create D3D device and could not load direct3d are the errors I get for 2 games. I updated all my drivers, downloaded Windows updates, and I updated DirectX. This is on and off, not constant, so I don't see how it would be my video card or anything like that. My video card is Intel. This is just extremely annoying. I can be playing 1 minute and the next I get this stupid error and then some time during the day it disappears and I can play again. I tried setting the game to my native resolution and it still doesn't work. What can I do to fix this? I'm running Windows 7 with Direct3D Acceleration enabled.

Have you attempted to reinstall the actual Direct3D Drivers and software?
Have you attempted to disable Direct3D Acceleration?
