I'm sure there are tons more, but that's all I can think of right now.
There wouldn't be such a huge price difference if they were both capable of the exact same thing...
It's common knowledge that Photoshop has more advanced features

I'm not saying GIMP is bad, as for a free image editing software, it's actually very good, but to compare it to Photoshop is just silly.

I have both PS, and GIMP, and I hear this a lot from a lot of people that ask me on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/mikethedj4), and yes PS has more stuff in store/inside it, and is more advanced, however you can do everything in Gimp as you can in PS, however it would take longer to do, and sometimes maybe harder to do.

Basically as I understand it, when you are walking 1000KMs. Photoshop would be flying with a turbo jet and GIMP would be walking it.
So yeah, that pretty much summs it up.
