Wouldn't really slow it down as those hardly take up room considering your purchasing 32gig.

This is a really old thread that got bumped, but for anyone else's reference, the count of the apps doesn't have any influence on whether or not it's "too many". It's really the size of the apps that you've downloaded.

No, it won't slow it down, and another advice: jailbreak your device, so you don't have to pay for apps.
