Second Hard Drive.

I'm getting a second hard drive, my laptop is broken and I thought I would get a HD Caddy and hook it up to my desktop.

I have used Ubuntu Linux and Linux Mint.
Now I'm wondering what Distro I should go with when I choose to install a Linux on this hard drive.

I'm thinking.

• Ubuntu - Because I'm familiar with the way it works and like it.
  
• Arch - Because it seems awesome and is really low demands.
  
• Maybe even SlackWare.

What disto do you think I should go with ?

I'm guessing that since you're used to Mint and Ubuntu, Arch and Slackware may be to far for you right now. Then again, I don't know how much you know with CLI, so who knows.
Since it'll be on your desktop, I would actually suggest trying Arch. Below are some useful guides that would help you install it. These are somewhat old, since he installs GNOME 2 and not 3. But, you could go to the Arch Wiki and find a guide for whatever desktop environment you wish to use.

Arch and Ubuntu are awesome operating systems. For everyday computing, use Ubuntu, otherwise use Arch.

I personally like Ubuntu or Linux Mint. That's just me though .
