Router red

I'm using a At&t router. Its the best router they said.
Recently, the router light for DSL and Internet turn red after using it a while.
When I touch it, its above warm, but not hot.
What causing it? Too many devices connect to it (it turn red often when 3 or more devices connected)

it's warm because its been on lol, its not over heating. as far as a red light coming on is your internet online when the red light is on?

Nope it got offline until the red light turn green. Now, I've replaced with a Netgear modem.

you should contact AT&T about the problem. have them send a tech to see if wiring is messed up on your end
