Hey guys,
I own a compaq presario c500 laptop. Now I am getting a white-thin verticle line on the right side. I checked out all connection. But I could not figour it out-why it is coming. Is this the problem of LCD?.I checked drivers too. But it is not the problem. Please help me......

Faulty screen. How old is that model? It's likely going to need to be replaced.

It could be your ribbon going to the monitor, maybe check it hasn't come loose.. Or buy a new one, it would be cheap enough to replace. Hope this helps.

white line indications a bad connection somewhere inside the actual monitor , i doubt it a screen fault such as a pixiel or vertical line issue , sounds more like a dry solder joint somewhere...
