The forum was about gaming which was down for at least 2 weeks which caused us to lose members, and activity so we gave up. I can't remember the domain since it was 2 years ago. If I remember I would have renewed it and try again.

Hmm, usually people who have big forums like that don't forget their domain names... And you could have started on newer projects to transfer members. Do you have any other forums active currently?

I can't remember anything well and at the moment I do not. I am planning to create another one soon and see how well it will go.

Me and a few of my friends used to host forums.
InvisionBoards and MyBB.

I was admin on like 2 of them and then on the other one I was a moderator.
Nothing big, but we had like 50 members. It was good for a 13 year old's forum.

0_o i was a admin on a couple forums. Almost all of them ended in hatred. At this point there is only three forums i would even bother to accept a staff offer. #1 is thetechgame #2 hackforums #3 here
but being an admin sucks, you get like 15k pms a day.
