Why does he lie?
#31
To be honest with you I was in the same situation as your boyfriend 2 years ago. My ex would harass me about little things that bothered her and like you two we lived a ways apart. She would ask me things like did I look at any girls butts at school and stuff like that and when I'd say yes (because I'm a guy, guys do that even married ones) she would cry her eyes out, so I'd have to lie to her to keep her happy and keep that noise out of my ears.

Another thing she was bothered about was porn. Why are you bothered by this? I'm sure he must in his late teens with raging hormones like all boys in that age group have. We watch porn for the visual effect nothing more. No we're not in love with the porn actress, tbh I don't even think about the actress when I indulge myself in this activity. It's just there to help my imagination. If you stress about little things like that it will drive him crazy and he will lie to you to shut you up if you complain a lot.

Just think about it from his point of view and not only how you want to see it.

Thank you for the continued posting, and the situation has been mostly resolved! Thank you all for the help and support, it means a lot to me!

Sleepy, it's not the porn that bothers me. It's the fact that he lies to me about it, even though i'm perfectly okay with him looking at it. I don't like that there's a possibility of a lie, when I'm all open and honest about everything I do. I know it's a guy thing, just like looking at other women and all that other jazz which is why I have no issues with it; he feels the need to look, he can. It's just the lies that bother me

Ah I see. Well its weird that he would lie about it if you've told him you're okay with it. Anyway I'm glad its been mostly resolved. Hope your relationship continues to prosper Smile

Wow SleepyTroll, that was the most adequate story that could have been used to solve this dilemma, you should give yourself a pat on the back.

In that case, perhaps consider having a mod close this thread.
