Help me with my xbox connection

Xbox LIVE requires a minimum MTU setting of 1364. Usually, you can change your MTU setting from your router configuration web page, which is supplied by your router manufacturer.

i cant connect to xbl and thats what it says, but on my router i can't find mtu setings, can someone help?

Maybe scan for mtu settings, i really have no idea what is going on atm. Can you explain what MTU is. Than i may assist you further.

heh, when ever i restart my modem for xbox never does anything lol...

turn off everything first.. Than turn your modem on. than turn your xbox on...
If that doesnt help, are you using a router with specific IP adresses assinged, meaning you are not using DHCP, you will have to set up the IP,subnet, and gateway in the xbox. And also another problem is that your internet connection might need to have a user name and Password, At my house i use PPOE settings to connect to the internet..
