Are you sure they're not case sensitive? I tried logging in without making the capital letters capital and it didn't work.

And x-net, you just edit the user group with the path that you uploaded it to. You can upload it anywhere in your mybb directory, but, I usually make a new folder called group images for mine.

That doesn't tell us anything. What did you do to cause that error? What plugins do you have installed?

Upload it to the ./images/groupimages/english/ folder, then go to ACP > Users & Groups > Groups > **choose group** > Group Image.
