At what age did you get your license?

I'm still quite young so I haven't received my license yet. Though I'm quite surprise that many of you got it so young.

As of right now I have a permit. I am taking driving lessons with a certified instructor.
I am planning on getting my license next year at age 17.

I am from India and in India men and women will we eligible for licence on or after 18 years. When i was 16 i used to drive gear-less vehicles (moped) and i start driving bikes when i was 17 years old. I got my license after 18 years and right now i am going for car driving class. Right now i am having license for both gear and gear-less vehicle.

I was 16 when I got my Learners permit, I'm 18 with the prospect of having my Green P's instead, I still have my L's.
