A Royal Occasion - A Happy Engagement

Yes the news is all over the news here in England, Prince William and Kate Middleton have just got engaged!



So now we're set for the wedding, estimated some time for March 2011. Seems weird that she will one day be the Queen of England.

The sweetest part about this engagement is the ring given to Kate was that of his mother Princess Diana, left to him after the tragic car accident. The ring has been valued at £250,000 or around $396,000 it's a sapphire surrounded by diamonds.




The two met at University and they're been together a few years, he proposed to her whilst on Holiday with her in Kenya in October of this year. Well at least we get a national bank holiday on the wedding day

I honestly don't know either of these people, considering I'm not into learning about them either. But it was big enough news to stop our math class and talk about it for half an hour.

Ha It's gone world wide, basically that's Prince William, RAF pilot and his new fiancee I think she becomes a princess when they're married.
