Here's my current temperatures, running OSX, it looks like my airport card is causing most of the heat, god knows why. I'm gonna try a wired connection later, but if anyone has any other tips, feel free to post em.

Try an app called "SMCFan control"
And run it at the highest setting
Hi, im new to macs. I recently bought a Powermac G5 dual 2.5. But i found out that i cant upgrade it beyond leopard b/c it isnt an intel core. I was thinking bout selling it and buying the new iMac but I cant help but think that there will be heating problems with everything being in the screen. Im not gonna be using it lightly, running Logic Pro 8 and an assload of vsts prolly. So i cant afford for it to go down in a year or 2...or 3. So can someone with a new iMac tell me if it has overhat problems or if it gets super hot (like the macbook pro). Thank you in advance.
