Its game when members get some presents.

Whether such games attract people to the forum? Did you ever done that?

I'm pretty sure this is what he means.
Holding contests prizes being things such as iPods, video games, etc.
Or referring contests where people refer other people to the site without abuse, and whosoever has the most referrals by the end of the month wins a prize.
It would promote activity and newer members.
