read only, hidden and encrypted

ok i made a mistake and i need help.
i have a selected whole folder of programs and movies and changed the folder and file atributes to read only, hidden and encrypted and now i can not see the folder.
when i try to enable the option show hidden files it apply's and when i press ok my folder is still gone and when i go back to check the hidden folder settings it has changed back.

so how can i force that option to stay on showing hidden folders?

SSSOOOOORRRYYYYY my fault .

I did a virus scan and it found a few so now everything is back to normal.

What a strange virus. I love ones like that, they're funny! Who would even think of making a virus that stops you from changing folder options BACK, without changing them in the first place
