hello, i know most of you would just throw it away and buy a new one, but i wanna try and save mine

now, the mp3 is this

the problem is
i turn it on and it only shows "starting" message nothing after that...
i connect it to PC with XP it only shows "starting" message and asks for drivers, which is weird cause you don't need drivers for USB mp3 player..
can maybe firmware upgrade help me out here?
if so, can you tell me where to find tools for firmware upgrade and firmware itself? some forum that specialize for mp3 players or something like that?
