what are the possibility of getting ear infection using a used heaphone?
My mom won't let me buy a used headphones form Amazon because she worries about bacteria. Is it possible? What if I clean it with alcohol?

Possible sure but pretty unlikely.
Just as likely to get the same bacteria from a door handle or arm rail or something.
She is over reacting big time IMO.
Just dont share your Headphones.
