Help With Root Dir. Change | MyBB

Okay, well.. when I made my website, I used the directory "/forums" for the MyBB forums.

I want to change it from "/forums" to just be the root..
Right now it is this: http://themoddingsite.com/forums/
I want it to be this: http://themoddingsite.com/

I have redirects for http://themoddingsite.com/ so it goes to http://themoddingsite.com/forums right now.

How would I change it?
MyBB Admin CP, Or cPanel?

If it is Admin CP, how do I do it?

It's both AdminCP and cPanel. You have to move all the contents of /forums/ to root. And then you have to go into AdminCP under general settings and change the directory of the forum and cookie path.

Im not sure on how to change it tbh, as when i installed mybb on my site i cleared all pages, and installed blank so my site is now, sitehere.com

Reset your pass should let you login if your owner, if your site is not big yet and has nothing important just do a reinstall
