Tire size calculator - Message if you need help!
#1
I deal with minitrucks, and most of the time, we get the question of tires. What size, etc etc.
Let's start with some basics.

Look at a tire sidewall, you'll get three sets of numbers in an xxx/xx/xx sequence.

I'll give you an example.
My truck from the factory has...
205/75/14
The first series..
205/..
is the tread width, measured in MilliMeters.
The second series..
../75/..
is the aspect ratio of the sidewall. 75 is 75% of 205.
The third series..
../14
is the tire size, measured in inches.

I'm running new wheels up front.
They're 215/60/16's
This gives me the 215mm width, 60% sidewall, on a 16" wheel. For some reason, in real life, it's shorter than the stockers, but that's probably the wheel's width, stretch the tire out a tiny bit. We'll talk about tire stretching and offsets later.

Here's the actual link to the tire size calculator! http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

PM me or ask openly on this thread about tire sizes if you need help! Every width size is ABOUT .46" (jumping from 205 to 215, is about .46" width extra)
