If per you were VIP and you sacrifices a lot for a forum, what would you want in that section?

A lounge forum, trading/buying/selling forum, and maybe occasional official contests/giveaways.

Warez.
Serials.
Private chat.
Free accounts.
Hacks and cracks.
Special user privileges.
Big badge to show i am VIP.
Privileged info others will not see.

It depends on the nature of the community, I'll use SF and HF as an example.

On HF the VIP upgrades are so popular mainly because of the privileges user name change, custom title, more rep points, cool user name colour, the group image. It's also because of the VIP sections such as the porn sections and the free services for vip's.

If SF was to open a VIP group, I seriously wouldn't expect much more than +/- 2 reputation points and a VIP chat section and a user bar. I think most of the members like me would simply like to help fund this wonderful forum, I know I would.

Also I wouldn't open a VIP section until I had a good solid base of activity and members willing to make the purchase.

Tutorials only for VIPs
Giveaways
Special deals
Maybe any new features your thinking about adding to the site you can test them out in the VIP area to see if they like it.

VIP. VIPs should be "important" therefore have access to information that others do not. They should have more "rights", but not any so that they can become abusing. Also recognition, eg. a user badge so that they feel "valued" as it is.
