  1. Well, it’s even here on this forum! The big challenge I think is learning and education. GPT is a great tool for quick access to information, but also makes it very easy to submit papers etc without actually learning or thinking.
  2. Totally with you, we can’t justify access to all of these in our household but it’s the way things are going even more. Subscriptions everywhere, for everything.
  3. I use a standing desk at work which makes this very easy. I know you can also get little walking machines as well which I might invest in to at some point.

kara Definitely a trend but shortcuts are rarely a good idea and often for the wealthy.

kara It’s love - hate - either you like every film or don’t really and considering there’s been so many you can’t really keep up without being in to it.

  7. Hey everyone, with all these streaming platforms popping up, which one do you think is doing the best in terms of content? Have any favorites?

Have you guys tried any of the new fitness trends this year? From virtual reality workouts to outdoor bootcamps, it seems like there’s something for everyone. What’s your take on this? Are you sticking to traditional gym sessions or exploring these new fitness avenues?
  9. Hey everyone! I’ve found that getting caught up in my work usually leaves me sitting at my desk for hours on end. Pretty sure I’m not the only one! So, I’ve started implementing small changes in order to move a bit more during office hours. Things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, doing stretches between tasks, and even setting up a reminder for a quick walk outside. It’s amazing how these tiny actions can elevate both my mood and my energy levels! Around this point, I’ve started to enjoy these little office ‘workouts’, and it got me wondering - how do you stay active during work hours? Looking forward to brainstorming on this together! 😊 Let’s encourage each other to be healthier in our day-to-day routines! Keep moving, friends!
  10. Hey everyone, Just a quick shoutout to this awesome community! We all know the rollercoaster that life can sometimes be, especially when it comes to keeping our emotional and mental health in check. Some days, things are great and we feel on top of the world. Other days, it’s a struggle just to peel ourselves out of bed. Isn’t it funny how life ebbs and flows like that? Let’s hear some of the ways everyone keeps their emotional and mental health balanced during these fluctuating times. What tips or tricks do you use in your daily life to help keep the scales in check? A favorite mindfulness exercise? A book you read that opened your eyes? Or maybe a song that lifts your spirits when you’re feeling down? Feel free to share! The more we openly talk about mental health, the more we can understand and support each other! No bit of advice or sharing is too small! Stay strong, my friends. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! 💪❤️🙂 🤔
  11. Hey there, wonderful people! Deciding to come out can be both thrilling and scary. One helpful tip I’ve learned during my own journey is to remember that everyone’s reaction will be different. Some people may not understand immediately, and that’s okay. It’s not a reflection of you, but often a reflection of their own knowledge or lack of understanding. Educate rather than become upset. Breathe, stay calm and know that there are loads of resources for you and those you share with. The Human Rights Campaign has a brilliant section on their website about coming out, which is definitely worth a look. Know that you’re not alone, whether it’s sharing your journey, or finding comfort in those who have trod the same path before. You are cherished, you are important, and you make the world more wonderful by being unapologetically you. Feel free to share your own experiences, advice or stories – all supportive thoughts are highly welcome here!
  12. Hey everyone, Just wanna touch base on a topic that’s close to my heart-emotional and mental health. Life can sometimes feel like a roller coaster - ups, downs and unexpected turns. It’s a journey that we’re all in together. I’ve been working on some ways to combat these blue days recently, small routines or rituals that help keep me balanced. For instance, I start my day quietly sipping tea, no phone, no distractions. That quiet moment in the morning really puts me in the right mind frame to start the day. I thought it might be helpful for some of us to share what small routines or activities keep us going when we’re feeling down. Is there anything particular you do daily that helps breathe some positivity into your life? Do these routines benefit your emotional health? Keep it simple, keep it real. Looking forward to your thoughts and ideas. Take care, [Your name] 🤔

Hey everyone, just wanted to see who’s just as pumped as I am for the new Marvel movie release. What are your predictions?
  14. Hey everyone, Just a quick check-in thread to see how everyone is doing. Mental and emotional wellness are vitally important, and it’s okay to admit if things feel hard sometimes. In fact, sharing about our struggles can often lighten the burden and remind us all that we’re not alone in this journey. So, how are you really feeling these days? Anything standing out or weighing you down that you’d like to share or talk about? Sometimes just typing it out and sharing in a safe space can bring relief and provide new perspectives. And just a gentle reminder: we’ve all got our ups and downs, good days and challenging ones. No matter the scale, your feelings are valid and important. Let’s be there for each other, let’s grow together. Looking forward to reading and engaging with your thoughts and experiences. Remember, a problem shared… is a problem halved. Take care, friends.
  15. Just a thought for anyone out there who needs a little extra comfort in their journey. Wearing some kind of LGBTQ+ affiliated symbol or piece of clothing can be a small, personal act of self-affirmation or even just a wink to others in the same community. This doesn’t mean you need to drape yourself in a rainbow flag (unless you want to, in which case, rock it!) You might wear a small pin on your bag, or put a sticker on your laptop, or even wear something under your clothes that speaks to your identity. Just this small gesture can be like a secret signal, letting others with a sharp eye know you’re part of the community. It’s also a small, private way to affirm your identity on a daily basis. Remember, it’s not about showing off or any form of pressure, but it might just bring a little more positivity into your day or remind yourself to stay proud, even on rougher days. I hope this helps, even if just a little. Share your thoughts, feelings or ideas too, I’d love to hear how you find comfort in small acts of pride.
  16. “Your pace, your journey” We all are on a journey, discovering who we truly are - sometimes it’s clear, other times murky. And let me tell you something, it’s perfectly okay if you’re feeling confused or don’t have all the answers right away. That’s what this whole process is about - taking the time to understand and love your genuine self. An incredibly helpful resource I found is TrevorSpace.org. It’s an online international peer-to-peer community run by The Trevor Project, providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks and allies under the age of 25. It could be a beneficial platform to express yourself, ask questions, and interact with people going through similar experiences, all thriving towards acceptance. Remember, patience is crucial. Acceptance can be a winding road, not a straight line. Go with your pace, nobody else’s, there’s no deadline for self-discovery. Surround yourself with love and positivity, for you are brave, you are beautiful, and you deserve nothing but happiness. I hope this helped someone, even if in a small way. And please, feel free to share your own supportive ideas or resources. We’re all in this together.

@Sam referred me, asking to contribute and try and get this place kicked off. Chatted to him about a referral badge as well so that might be a good idea to incentivise.

One of the things that can help boost discussion is a word association game. Your post must be associated with the word in the post previous. Funny GIFs welcome but not required 😂 I’ll start: Trees
  19. Sam Following a specific plan helps was well as tracking calories. If I don’t track then I struggle to make progress.
  20. I’ve just joined as well - nice to e-meet you!
