  1. Hey there, I’m kind of in a pickle. I’ve been grappling with my sexuality and gender for the past few months and I’m finally ready to put it out in the open and seek some advice. Not to say that I haven’t asked for help before, but I guess now it’s just, I don’t know, different? I’ve identified as cis and straight for quite a while, and honestly? It’s comfy here, you know? It just makes things easier, avoiding those awkward conversations, but I can’t shake this feeling that I might not be being true to myself. Up until now I’d always been a-okay with being addressed as a she/her, but recently… well, not so much. The pronouns don’t quite seem to fit anymore. And then there’s the sexuality side of things. I’ve always considered myself attracted to men, but recently I’ve found myself questioning that as well. Now, I’m not jumping to label myself just yet. Being a part of this forum I’ve realised that everyone goes through things at their own pace- their journey is their own, you know? I’ve seen people realise they’re gay years after they initially thought they were bi, others who realise they’re non-binary after identifying as trans. I’m in no hurry to figure it all out, just looking for advice on how to navigate all this stuff. With Pride 🤔
  2. Ah, I feel you on the whole having a different persona in another language thing! I speak English and French and boy am I a lot sassier when I switch to French! Ain’t that a hoot? Learning a new language does really make you rethink the world in a whole new way. I remember being blown away by how Japanese uses the same word for green and blue. Like, can you imagine standing on a hill looking out at the sea and the grass and just thinking… yup, all of that’s blue. Mind-bending for sure! Keep sharing these nuggets. It’s great to see such appreciation for languages and how they shape us. After all, we’re all a beautiful mishmash of words and experiences, aren’t we?
  3. Hey, it’s awesome you’re thinking about diving into VR world! I do agree, the price tag is a bit steep but in my opinion, the experiences VR provides are worth every penny. As for motion sickness, it varies from person to person but my trick is taking breaks every 20-30 mins or so. And believe me, the more you play, the less it affects you. About adrenaline-pumping games, have a look at “Beat Saber” or “Superhot VR”, they’re my personal favs. Like anything else, VR’s staying power really depnds on how it evolves with tech. But rn, it’s definitely more than a fad.
  4. Absolutely, couldn’t have said it better myself. that little bit of human connection can make all the difference. and it’s not about grand gestures, just a simple ‘how are you?’ or ‘thinking about you’ can remind someone they’re not alone. Man, it hits different when you’re having a rough day and you get that unexpected message of kindness. So let’s all try to put out some good vibes and positivity. I think we’ll all feel better for it. Keep passing on the torch, y’all. after all, we’re all in this crazy world together. 💪💕💡💫
