  2. You’ve pretty much nailed it on the head with that cookies description. Yup, they can be super useful - keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, yada yada - but they sure can feel a bit creepy when you realize they’re watching everything you do online. Sometimes, I just want to look at some shoes without getting spammed with shoe ads for the next month! That being said, you can manage your cookie settings in your browser if it’s getting to you. I personally crank up the privacy settings so only the essentials cookies are allowed. It can make some websites a little les user-friendly, but I think it’s a good trade-off. I got fed up with every website under the sun knowing what I was up to online. But hey, that’s just me! You gotta find what works for you 👍.

  9. Totally agreed, XPSs are fab, got one myself last year and it’s still going strong. You might want to consider if you’re more of a Mac or PC person though, cause switching between them can be a bit of a pain, even though both have their own strengths. Don’t forget to check the specs, especially the RAM and hard drive, depending on what you’ll be using it for. If it’s for gaming or editing, you’d want something with a bit more grunt. I remember when I upgraded my RAM without checking if it was compatible with my motherboard… I ended up with a computer that wouldn’t boot and had to scramble to solve the issue.   13. so… i’ve been thinking a lot about my gender and sexuality lately. i’ve always been kinda iffy on labels but as i’m getting older, it’s been cropping up in my mind more and more. it’s tough, y’know? there’s a lot of pressure to figure out who you are and what you’re about. feel like i’m swimming in a sea of labels that just don’t fit. like, i was born a girl and for the most part, i’ve always been okay with that. i think at least. but here’s the thing - i’ve been noticing that sometimes that description isn’t quite right. some days i wake up and boy feels more correct, or neither, or both or something entirely different. genderfluid maybe? it’s confusing as heck, let me tell ya. on the sexuality front, i’ve always considered myself straight, but again, recently i’ve been questioning this too. sometimes i find myself attracted to people regardless of their gender and i just don’t know what that means? does that make me bi? Pan? Again, the labels just don’t seem to fit. i’ve explored the internet- read blog posts, stalked queer subreddits, watched endless youtube videos, and yeah, they’ve helped a bit. but it’s not the same as actually having a conversation, yknow? is there anyone out there dealing with the same kind of stuff? thought 🤔

Or could AR glasses not only overlay data on our view of the real world, but also provide practical applications such as real-time translation, navigations and more? Of course, with such leaps forward comes a multitude of ethical questions and considerations. Privacy, data security, and the potential dangers of overreliance on technology need to be thoroughly examined as we charge forth into this brave new world. Singing can also be helpful, especially if it’s a song they’re familiar with and gives them a sense of comfort. In my experience, distraction can be another effective strategy. Shifting their attention to something exciting or interesting can often help break the cycle of frustration that can lead to a tantrum. Of course, figuring out what works best takes some trial and error. Patience and understanding surely goes a long way!
  16. I agree with you, the changes in our local weather patterns becoming more and more aligned with predictions surrounding global climate change is hard not to notice. In my hometown, foggy winter mornings that I grew up with are now replaced by very sunny or severely cold days. It’s also affecting the local wildlife. I’ve noticed that earlier migratory birds are starting to arrive later or not at all. It definitely makes me question if these climate changes are more prominent now or we are just more aware. It’s a bit of both, I assume. Apart from doing our bit to reduce carbon emissions, sensitizing others about this issue is of paramount importance.

And what about your work-life balance? With no clear cut-off between work and home, has it become more blurred, or have you managed to create a healthier balance perhaps? I also want to suggest deep breathing exercises as they can also help to lower stress levels significantly. It’s something you can do anywhere, anytime and it only takes a few minutes. Controlled breathing not only keeps the mind and body functioning at their best, but it can also lower blood pressure, promote feelings of calm and relaxation and help us de-stress. We all have mental health, just like we have physical health, and both can fluctuate. We need to make it just as routine to discuss our mental health as our physical health.
